Kritika Sachdeva, who was last seen playing the lead in B.A. Pass 2 got talking about her comeback project (Viraat) to the industry after 3 years. About her role, she says, ''I am playing the lead role of a girl named Parkhi. Basically, she is a girl next to the door who wanted to do good for society but then one day something happens that changes her life drastically.''

Ask her what is the plot of the film and she reveals, ''Viraat is a murder mystery which involves murders of VIPs and the story of an innocent girl Parkhi and a simple boy Mohit but how are all of them connected to each other??? To solve this mystery a super cop has been appointed but how does he do it, that's what the film is all about.''

The actress has returned to the screens after a huge gap and talking about the same, she said, ''My project is coming after 3 years now and I just can't express my feelings. This project is so close to my heart as my dad told us to shoot it in Chandigarh and he was with me all through this project. Now he is not with me but this project I believe is his blessing for me.''

She has spoken earlier about how she thought 2017 was supposed to be her year but after a while of the film's release, she was caught up at home as her father was diagnosed with cancer and later succumbed to the disease, which is why she had to take a break. She has had a lot of setbacks in her life and when things were shaping up well later in 2020, that is when she started working.
