Cricketer KL Rahul took to Instagram Stories on Thursday to seek additional advice from his Instagram followers on how he should spend his day. He received a sweet response from his rumored girlfriend, actor Athiya Shetty, who requested that he should video call her.

Athiya wrote, "You should definitely FaceTime me." Rahul, who was posing with someone dressed as a cat, frowned at the camera and wrote, "Our face when you don't pick up @athiyashetty."

Rahul is currently in the United Arab Emirates for the ongoing Indian Premier League season. He is the team captain of the Punjab Kings. Earlier this week, he became the IPL's second-fastest batsman to reach 3,000 runs, trailing only Chris Gayle. He is the fastest Indian to achieve this feat.

Athiya and Rahul have been rumored to be dating for quite some time. They frequently appear in each other's Instagram posts, engage in flirtatious social media banter, and go on vacations together. They have yet to confirm their relationship.

Athiya accompanied Rahul to England earlier this year for the World Test Championship. According to a source, he listed her as his 'partner' before leaving.
