Athiya Shetty Crops Boyfriend KL Rahul from Photo; Fans Amused

Athiya Shetty has been making headlines for her relationship with cricketer KL Rahul. The duo is often spotted together making public appearances and enjoying dinner dates. They have neither accepted their relationship nor denied it, but their social media PDA has a different story to tell. They often leave quirky comments on each other's posts, which only further hints at something brewing between them.

A close friend of Athiya and Rahul revealed that their friendship slowly turned into a romance. They had always been friends but weren’t dating each other and they try to spend as much time together, despite their busy schedules. 

Recently, Athiya subtly confirmed her relationship with Rahul when she took to social media to share a picture with the latter to wish him on his birthday. Alongside the photo, she wrote, “happy birthday, my person…”, which was enough for fans to ship them together.

And now, Athiya shared a throwback picture from her Thailand vacation, where she was accompanied by KL Rahul and other friends. However, what’s interesting is that fans were quick to notice that the actress had cropped Rahul from the picture.

She captioned her post as “feels like a dream ago.” Soon, fans started quizzing her about who did she crop from the picture and why. And, Athiya had quite a quirky reply to it, by saying that she cropped the person whom she beats at Ludo.

Earlier too, Athiya’s father and actor Suniel had affirmed her relationship with KL Rahul and told BT:  “Absolutely love them and I think more than a profession, being happy in life is very important today because that is the space I think that is missing. We were all happy, we grew up happy.”
