Venu Swamy, the astrologer, faced legal issues for stirring up controversy. In a widely circulated social media video, the astrologer predicted the fate of the newly engaged couple, Chay and Sobhita, suggesting they would part ways in 2027 due to a third party.

Venu Swamy's video quickly gained attention for its controversial predictions, and according to a report by 123Telugu, the Telugu Film Journalist Association has reportedly lodged a police complaint against the astrologer for his comments regarding Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala.

Amid all the drama, Venu Swamy posted another video on his Instagram, clarifying his remarks about Chay and Sobhita. He explained that his prediction was merely an extension of the past events involving Chay and his ex-wife, Samantha Ruth Prabhu.

Stressing his decision to abstain from making predictions about celebrities in the future, Venu stated that he would no longer delve into foreseeing the lives of film stars, “I had vowed to never predict film stars and politicians’ futures, and I will stick to my word. MAA President Manchu Vishnu has spoken to me, and I assured him that I will never predict film stars’ future.”
