Akhil Akkineni's wedding: Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita post a sweet message as they welcome Zainab to the family

In Hyderabad, Akhil Akkineni, son of actors Nagarjuna and Amala Akkineni, wed Zainab Ravdjee. The intimate ceremony, a traditional Telugu wedding, took place early Friday. Close friends and family gathered as the couple exchanged vows, celebrating their union in a heartfelt and private setting.

After the wedding, Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala, shared a warm welcome to the newlyweds on social media. They posted a photo from the celebration, showing Akhil and Zainab with Nagarjuna, Amala, and themselves. The gesture highlighted the family's joy and support for the newly married couple.

Naga Chaitanya, in a soft yellow sherwani, and Sobhita, stunning in a cream saree with a red blouse, celebrated the wedding. Chaitanya's caption read, “Congrats to the newlyweds, welcome to the family dear Zainab, @akkineniakhil." Sobhita echoed the sentiment, sharing the same photo with the caption, “Welcome to the family dear Z 🤍 Congratulations to the newlyweds."

Amala Akkineni also took to her Instagram to announce the wedding formally. “With immense joy, I am delighted to share that my dear son Akhil has married his beloved Zainab in an intimate ceremony at our home, in the early hours of the morning (3:35 am). It was a dream come true for Nagarjuna and myself, as we shared the warmth of love, laughter and the company of those dearest to us," she wrote. “I seek your blessings and good wishes as they embark on this new chapter together.”

Nagarjuna shared photos of the couple's pheras and a picture of him and Amala performing the pooja. Akhil and Zainab looked elegant in ivory traditional outfits.

Akhil Akkineni and Zainab Ravdjee, who engaged in November last year, celebrated their wedding recently. Zainab, a talented artist known for her abstract paintings, is the daughter of industrialist Zulfi Ravdjee. Born in Hyderabad, she now resides in Mumbai. The 39-year-old artist also had a brief acting career, notably appearing in MF Hussain’s film Meenaxi: A Tale of Three Cities with Tabu and Kunal Kapoor.
