Bollywood actor Ashutosh Rana has tested positive for Coronavirus a week after taking the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccination.
The 53 year old actor shared the same in a social media post and stated that he contracted the virus after taking the first jab of the vaccine on April 6.
Rana took to Facebook to pen a long note as he informed his fans about his health condition and said that he is happy to know about the 'illness' in his body on the auspicious occasion of Chaitra Navratra.
His note in Hindi translates as: "Today is the beginning of the Indian New Year, it is also called Chaitra Navratra, for nine days from today, Jagatjanani, Maa Durga will be worshiped in India. But if you get information about the symptoms that are developing in your body on this very auspicious day, then nothing good can happen. It is a special kindness of Jagatjanani that I came to know during my meeting today that I am suffering from coronavirus."
He further wrote, "I have also got my entire family tested, and their reports will come tomorrow. But after 7 April all the friends, well-wishers and fans who have come in contact with me, you are requested to get yourselves tested."
Meanwhile on the work front, Ashutosh Rana was last seen in Umesh Bist's Pagglait starring Sanya Malhotra in the lead role, also starring Sheeba Chaddha, Ashutosh Rana, Raguvir Yadav, and Sayani Gupta.
