A.R. Rahman 'excited' to meet Pele in Kolkata

Academy Award winning music composer A.R. Rahman is "excited" ahead of his meeting with football legend Pele here on Monday evening.

"Excited to meet Pel this evening in Kolkata!" the "Jai ho" artist posted on his Twitter page.

Rahman, who is creating music for Pele's biopic "Pele: Birth of a Legend", will meet the 74-year-old and be a part of the Legends Night at the Netaji Indoor Stadium on Monday, where former India skipper Sourav Ganguly and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will also be present.

Pele, three-time FIFA World Cup winner, arrived in the city on Sunday, and will attend Indian Super League (ISL) defending champions Atletico de Kolkata's home game against the Kerala Blasters, where he will be the guest of honour.
