Mahua Moitra who is from a family of tea planters is known for her strong opinions and oratory skills. The lady has a degree in economics and mathematics from Mount Holyoke College in Hadley, Massachusetts in the US. She worked as an investment banker in JP Morgan. She worked in the corporate sector abroad. When she came back to India, she dived straight into politics joining Congress where she was much admired by Rahul Gandhi. Then, she quit that party to become a part of Trinamool Congress. She is a Parliament MP from Krishnanagar.

Pinaki Misra is from Odisha from a top political family. His father Lokanath Misra was former Governor of Assam. He has studied History from St Stephen’s College in Delhi, and has done LLB from Faculty of Law, Delhi University. He is a Supreme Court lawyer.
