Anurag Sharma Bags Rani Mukherjee Starrer Mardaani 2

TV actor Anurag Sharma, who is best known for his role in Star Plus’ Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, will be seen in the upcoming Bollywood movie, Mardaani 2. The crime thriller is a sequel to the 2014 movie of the same name with Rani Mukherjee reprising the role of police officer Shivani Shivaji Roy.

We have also reported about actors Vikram Singh Chauhan and Shruti Bapna, being roped for the movie. The latest to join the cast is actor Anurag Sharma, who took to his social media to share the news with his friends and fans. “Work in progress...by the grace of God,” he wrote. 

Anurag has already started shooting for the same.

Anurag, who has worked in several Television shows, will make his Bollywood debut with Mardaani 2. He has been part of many popular shows like Pavitra Rishta and Kumkum Bhagya among others.

About Mardaani, the franchise is produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner Yash Raj Films and directed by Gopi Puthran. The story dealt with human-trafficking and how a police officer strives to save a teenage girl from traffickers.
