Mahira Sharma & Mohammed Siraj Break Silence on Dating Rumours, Request Paparazzi to Stop

Indian cricketer Mohammed Siraj has finally spoken up about the ongoing dating rumours with actress Mahira Sharma. The speculations about their alleged romance have been circulating for quite some time. However, Siraj has now urged paparazzi to stop questioning Mahira about him, dismissing the rumours as baseless.

On March 20, Mahira Sharma attended an award function in Mumbai. During her interaction with the media, photographers playfully teased her about the upcoming IPL season and her favourite team. The video of this fun moment quickly went viral on social media.

Reacting to this, Mohammed Siraj took to his Instagram story on March 21 and posted a statement addressing the matter. He wrote, "I request paparazzi to stop asking questions about me. It is completely untrue and baseless. I hope this ends," followed by a folded hands emoji. However, shortly after posting, he deleted the statement.

After Siraj’s response, Mahira Sharma also addressed the rumours. On Friday, she posted on her Instagram story, "Stop spreading rumours, I'm not dating anyone." This was the first time she directly commented on the ongoing speculation. Mahira, who gained fame from Bigg Boss 13, was previously in a relationship with actor Paras Chhabra. The two met during the reality show and were close for several years before parting ways in 2023.

Speculations about Mahira and Siraj’s relationship started a few months ago when a report from ETimes claimed that the two were romantically involved. According to the report, sources close to them had hinted that they were dating but preferred to keep their relationship private.

The dating buzz intensified when Siraj liked one of Mahira’s Instagram posts and both started following each other. This led to fans assuming there was something more between them. However, Mahira’s mother had previously dismissed these rumours, and now both Mahira and Siraj have personally denied them.

Mahira Sharma started her acting career with small roles in popular TV shows like Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Naagin 3, Kundali Bhagya, and Bepanah Pyaar.
