Anurag Kashyap is ENRAGED with CBFC cheif Pahlaj Nihlani, checkout why

Anurag Kashyap who is geared up for the release of his upcoming production 'Haraamkhor' that stars Nawazuddin Siddique, seems to be utterly miffed due to unending troubles in its path.

Even though the film was all set to be rolled out, it took nearly eight months to obtain a certificate from the Film Certificate Appellate Tribunal. Anurag who has produced the film is completely disappointed with CBFC chief Pahlaj Nihlani for keeping his films under the radar always.

Last time, it was Kashyap's 'Udta Punjab' which had faced issues with CBFC for clearance and now 'Haraamkhor' is facing the wrath. Enraged by the situation, Anurag says, " If anything is remotely associated with me, Pahlajji opens his pitara and brings out the special love he has for me. He can say whatever he wants. We know we will always have to move to the court for our films". (sic)

He even remarked that he doesn't expect Nihalni to understand the difference a good and a bad film.

He says, "It's (censorship) a topic I would rather not talk about because it's pointless; it's like banging your head against a wall. For every film, we will have to move court. So, the process of getting our films cleared will take around six to eight months. I remember at the time of 'Bombay Velvet' (2015), Pahlajji had cut a simple intimate scene. And now you can see him clearing much more than that in a film". (sic)

Directed by Shlok Sharma, 'Haraamkhor' is set to hit the silver screens tomorrow.
