Anupamaa: Samar reassures that his death wasn't Anuj's or anyone's fault

In tonight's episode of Anupamaa, the show starts with a disclaimer indicating that 13 days have passed since the previous events. Anupama is seen looking at Samar's childhood belongings, reminiscing how he first wrote her name on a slate when he started writing. Her tears fall on the slate, and as she tries to wipe them away, she accidentally erases the "Ma" from her name, "Anupama." In a hallucination, Samar questions why she erased "Ma," to which Anupama expresses her feelings of inadequacy as a mother, believing she failed to protect Samar from harm. Samar reassures her, saying she's the best mother in the world and that her actions weren't to blame for what happened. 

Anupama apologizes and feels remorseful for not calling Samar back when she discovered the black thread, leading to her tears. Samar responds, suggesting that even if she had called him, the outcome might have been the same, emphasizing it was an accident with no one to blame, not even Anuj Buddy. He shares his wish for their baby not to be born in this environment and asks Anupama to promise to move beyond the trauma of his death.

Samar encourages her to live happily, and he guides Anupama to write "Maa" on the slate and smile. Anupama smiles and promises not to cry when remembering him, only remembering him with a smile. Later, Anupama energetically serves various family members, symbolizing her newfound determination to remain strong and not succumb to her grief. She explains that she has promised Samar not to cry because it would hurt him. She wants everyone to remember him with happiness rather than sorrow.

Anuj is shown signing some papers while Ankush talks to him about moving forward despite their loss. Ankush asks about when Anupama will return home. Anuj expresses his concern that Anupama has been avoiding him and not answering his calls. To his surprise, Anupama is seen standing at the door, and he becomes emotional. Toshu attempts to soothe a crying Pari, and Baa mentions Kinjal's presence. Toshu says she hasn't been working for the past 13 days; thus, she had to go. Dimpy arrives and takes Pari into her arms, calming her. Vanraj suggests that if they try to stay happy, life might provide them with reasons to smile. Anuj asks Anupama about her return and her intention to stay. Choti comes in, and Anupama mentions her school project and dance class. Anuj is taken aback. Anuj confides in Ankush that Anupama hasn't informed him about her return or her purpose regarding Anu's project. Ankush advises patience while Anuj requests them to speak with her on his behalf. Barkha suggests allowing her some time and space.

Precap: Sonu's family visits the Shah household and warns of potential regret. Anupama and Vanraj challenge that Sonu will be held accountable, and Anuj offers support. Anupama declares that she doesn't need his support. Meanwhile, an auto driver threatens Kavya to persuade Vanraj to drop the case against Sonu, or she will face consequences. Kavya falls from the auto and cries out in distress.
