Anupamaa: Anuj and Anupamaa reunite, How will Guru Ma retaliate?

Vanraj informs the family that Anupama's flight has departed and she is finally on her way. Leela expresses concern about how they will manage without her. Kinjal suggests that they should handle their own responsibilities. Kavya shares her worry about Anuj, who now has to take care of Choti Anu/CA's responsibilities. Dimpy receives a message from Barkha, informing them that CA ran calling for her mother and had an accident. CA murmurs in her sleep, yearning for her mother. Anuj vows to be both her mother and father. He imagines Anupama and expresses how much they both miss her, wishing they could have been together if she hadn't sacrificed her dreams.

 He describes their bond as one soul in two bodies and feels like he has lost his life. Anupama intervenes, and Anuj explains that while Anupama taught him to live, he can't imagine his daughter living without her. Anupama asks if she should return, but Anuj insists that she shouldn't sacrifice her dream and comforts him. The song "Kaise Kahoon Bina Tere Zindagi Ye Kya Hogi.." plays in the background as Anupama wipes his tears and soothes him to sleep on her lap.

The next morning, Leela prays to God, asking for Anupama's return and the happiness of her family. Hasmukh returns home, regretting not being able to see off Anupama, and prays for her happiness. The family is overjoyed to see him and seeks his blessings. A delivery boy brings sugar-free cream rolls, sent by Anupama for Hasmukh. Hasmukh appreciates Anupama's love for him, even without words, and emphasizes the need for them to handle themselves and allow Anupama to work peacefully in America. He also mentions the importance of taking care of Anuj and CA.

Anuj wakes up and realizes that just as CA needs her mother, he also needs Anupama's help in taking care of her. Ankush calls him downstairs, and Anuj hurries down to find Hasmukh there. Hasmukh apologizes for the delay and inquires about CA. Anuj confesses that he tried his best but failed to handle her. Anuj breaks down while hugging Hasmukh, who comforts him and assures him that everything will be alright. CA comes downstairs, calling for her mother, and asks Hasmukh if she is preparing her school uniform and lunchbox. Hasmukh stands speechless. Meanwhile, at the Shah house, Kinjal mentions that their neighbor Sheela aunty has sent them raw mangoes. Leela suggests that Anupama could have made the best murabba out of them, but Kinjal reminds everyone that Anupama is in the USA.

CA continues to ask about her mother. Kavya tells her that her mother has gone to a gurukul for an event and emphasizes how strict the gurumaa is. Kavya manages to convince CA to eat and feeds her. Barkha comments on how easily Kavya convinced CA to eat, something they all struggled with. Vanraj asks Anuj if they can take CA to the Shah house for some time, as she needs a motherly figure and gets along well with Kavya.

 Barkha argues that even if Anuj stays without CA, CA can't stay without him. Ankush supports Anuj. Hasmukh agrees with both Barkha and Vanraj, suggesting that Anuj should let CA stay at the Shah house for some time, as she will adjust with Pari and Meenu. Anuj agrees, acknowledging that CA needs motherly love, and allows them to take CA towards the door. However, he stops CA before she leaves.

Precap: Anupama returns home and admits that she couldn't leave her bebli (CA) behind. Gurumaa questions Anupama's priorities and slaps her, vowing to never forgive her and threatening to destroy her life.
