Recently actor Kartik Aaryan has been mired in controversy, one after another. After his exit from Karan Johar’s Dostana 2, it was recently rumoured that the actor was dropped from filmmaker Aanand L Rai’s upcoming film.

While the news spread like a wildfire, Kartik had maintained his silence on the entire issue. Now filmmaker Anubhav Sinha has shared his views on Kartik’s recent ouster from films and presented a rather shocking take on the same. The director believes that this is a campaign against the actor.

Anubhav took to Twitter late on Thursday and wrote:

“And by the way... when Producers drop Actors or vice versa they don't talk about it. It happens all the time. This campaign against Kartik Aryan seems concerted to me and very bloody unfair. I respect his quiet."

For the unaware, several reports recently suggested that Kartik Aaryan was dropped from filmmaker Aanand L Rai’s gangster drama film and that he was replaced by Ayushmann Khurrana. Soon several reasons behind his alleged exit had started making the rounds on the Internet. However, Aanand later clarified that he never signed any film with Kartik, and stated they are in talks with both Aaryan and Khurrana for different projects.

Besides, if reports are to be believed, Kartik Aaryan has voluntarily dropped out of a love story titled ‘Goodbye Freddie’, that was being produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies.

Back in April, Dharma Productions had confirmed that actor Kartik Aaryan was being dropped from the film Dostana 2, and the film will see a new cast now. While neither Kartik or Karan Johar have not revealed the reason behind their shocking decision, it was being heard that the actor was ousted from the film on grounds of unprofessional behaviour.
