Anubhav Sinha reacts to Twitter trolls with abusive words; See tweets

Anubhav Sinha’s Article 15 released on Friday. The film had been surrounded amidst controversy ever since the film went on floors. The Parshuram Sena and Karni Sena held protests against the Ayushmann Khurrana starrer and alleged that the film shows Brahmins in the bad light.

The film is inspired by the real life incident of 2014 Badaun rape case where two teenage girls were gang-raped and murdered. However, the trailer of the film faced the wrath of the community and the movie was called 'anti-Brahmin'. The actor, as well as the director, had allegedly also received threats on social media. 

While majority of fans and critics have praised the powerful film and applauded Ayushmann’s performance, some viewers seem to be unhappy with the film. Earlier, Sinha even shared an open letter apologising for the hard-hitting trailer that may have irked the members of the community. But now it seems like the director has lost his cool and reacted to Twitter trolls with cuss words!

A Twitter user recently tweeted to the director of the movie, "Just remove the line based on true incident... And if this is based on true incident then give us proof." Reacting to this, Sinha apparently lost it. He replied, "Who the **** are you??? I mean who the ****???"

He slammed another user who claimed that since no one is paying attention to the movie, that's why the director is saying that the Brahmin community is protesting against his movie. While replying to his tweet, he went on to use cuss words again as he said, "Go get a ****** name first you manhole lid." 

When another Twitterati asked him on the social media platform, "Movie banaya hai ya propaganda?????" the director responded by saying, "Shut the **** up MORON."

Article 15 features Ayushmann Khurrana in a cop character for the first time and for the same, he met real cops to prep for his character in the film. The film also stars Isha Talwar, M Nassar, Manoj Pahwa, Sayani Gupta, Kumud Mishra and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub.
