Biopics are currently the hot trend in Bollywood. But off lately, it is not exclusive to Bollywood alone. And this started when Ekta debuted Bose: Dead Or Alive on the digital space.

With the response for the web series being humongous, there is another biopic web series that is in the making, that of late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha.

A report in a leading tabloid stated that a yet to-be launched digital platform has roped in celebrated filmmaker Gautham Memon to helm the project.

The currently untitled web series will chronicle the life of Jayalalitha, right from how she first became a superstar in the South Indian film industry to how her stint in politics made her one of the fiercest female politicians in the country.

A journey celebrating the life of 'Amma' (as she was lovingly addressed), is something to look forward to.. Isn't it?
