Amitabh Bachchan to dazzle the small screen yet again

Sony TV will come up with Kaun Banega Crorepati 4 with Big B’s mastery as he gets back to host the show…

Siddharth Basu led production house Big Synergy that began the quizzing culture on television is delighted to introduce the Season 4 of the landmark show Kaun Banega Crorepati, this time on Sony TV. This season is also special as the show gets back its original host, the legendary Amitabh Bachchan.

Sony held a conference to re-affirm their endeavor with KBC and announced that Mr. Amitabh Bachchan is back to take charge as host. However, they had no answers to the questions pertaining to any pre-production aspect.

All they had to say was that the audition process is slated to kick start with Amitabh Bachchan asking one question on Sony TV for 10days between 9pm and midnight. Each question will have four options and also information on how to send in the responses will be shown.

Post this process, the final short-listed candidates will be invited to any of the six ground audition centers in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Lucknow and Nagpur.

As far as Big B's approach towards the show is concerned, undoubtedly he is delighted to be a part of KBC and it was like a 'home coming' experience for him. It looked as though he too wasn't much briefed about the finer details of the show, but he smartly answered all the questions, including those that weren't pertaining to the show in the most hilarious and tactful manner.

So for now, the countdown to KBC's comeback has begun and people who wish to become the next crorepati can gear up for a good time ahead...

@magnificent me, you are right Sony Entertainment Television is a part of Sony Pictures Entertainment. All Hollywood films under SPE(also known as Columbia Pictures) comes on Sony's sister channel Sony Pix. AXN too is part of SPE. Rights of Bigg Boss, Fear Factor were with Sony then sold to Colors the reason is because of low trps.

Good that it is on Sony this time because Star Plus sucks now!!!!!

Yeah I think Sony Pictures holds the rights to Who wants to be a millionaire format which they sold to Star Plus in India. Star Plus said they had enough with the format so the rights automatically went to Sony Pictures. Sony Entertainment is a part of Sony Pictures so they are making use of the rights. Fear Factor and Big Boss also used to be a part of Sony before Sony sold it to Colors. Rights of shows can be sold.

@KiNnY-pArTnEr , Sony had bought the rights from Star Plus long time back since Star Plus didn't had faith in yet another season of KBC. It was put on sale but no channels like ZEE, Colors were interested in buying the rights. Thus the rights went to SONY.
