Amitabh Bachchan opens up about criticism slowing down with age: "Now, they understand I'm 81"

Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan recently took to his blog to share his thoughts on how criticism towards him as an actor has slowed down with age. The iconic star, who has faced both acclaim and criticism throughout his career, expressed that as he has grown older, the ridicule has lessened. 

In his blog post, he shared, "Now with age the ridicule has lessened...now with time, they that are asked or are brought into the picture by me, are convinced that the man is 81, old decrepit and mental, bear him...it shan't be for long...and the responses go on with a sense of...poor guy, so uninformed, let him be...etc, etc, etc..." He also highlighted his fearless disposition, stating that he now has the temerity to seek and voice matters that may not have been done earlier.

Big B revealed that he has been taking a few days off to reflect and rejuvenate. During this time, he has delved into introspection to gain a deeper understanding of the world and the reasons behind certain actions and decisions. He shared, "So...a few days off...and the days spent in reflection, rejuvenation...not of the age kind but to gain the knowledge of what goes on inside the World of reflection...smart yes...Yes...It is, or rather are the reflection days...a wonder why certain 'givens' were given, why certain doings were being done...why a name, an act, an act...and so many other 'whys'..."

In other news, it has been announced that Amitabh Bachchan will be part of Project K, a highly anticipated film that also stars Prabhas and Disha Patani. 

What makes this announcement even more exciting is that Project K is set to be promoted at the upcoming Comicon event in San Diego, which will take place from July 20-23, 2023. The film's team took to their official social media handle to share the news, highlighting that Project K will be the first Indian film to make its debut at the prestigious US Comicon.
