Amitabh Bachchan Health Update: Officials from Nanavati Hospital say he is Stable!

The news of Amitabh Bachchan and son Abhishek Bachchan being tested positive for coronavirus on Saturday has shocked the entire nation and fans have been praying for their well-being. The father and son duo has been admitted at Nanavati Super Speciality Hospital in Mumbai and the public relation officer has issued a statement. 

In an interaction with ANI, the official from Nanavati Super Speciality Hospital said, “Amitabh Bachchan is stable with mild symptoms and is currently admitted in the isolation unit of the hospital.” 

However, Abhishek’s health update is yet to be received who has also been diagnosed with Covid-19. He, too, has been admitted at the same hospital. 

Meanwhile, Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope issued an official statement through his Twitter handle and said both Amitabh and Abhishek underwent rapid antigen tests. He also mentioned that the test results of other members of the Bachchan family including Jaya Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who were also tested for novel coronavirus will be out on Sunday.

In a video message late on Saturday night, Tope wished a speedy recovery to Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan.
