Amaal Mallik Deletes Emotional Post About Family, Clarifies Bond With Brother Armaan Malik Remains Strong

Singer and composer Amaal Mallik recently created a stir on social media by sharing a heartfelt post about cutting ties with his family. However, he later clarified that his bond with his brother, Armaan Malik, remains unshaken. His initial post, which has since been deleted, addressed his struggles and the emotional toll he has endured over the years.

On March 20, Amaal took to Instagram and wrote, “Thank you for the love and support, it truly means a lot, but I would request the media portals to not harass my family… Please don’t sensationalise & give negative headlines to my vulnerability… It’s a request.” He emphasized that speaking about such personal matters publicly took great courage and requested privacy.

Amaal also expressed that, while he still loves his family, he has decided to maintain distance. However, he made it clear that his relationship with Armaan Malik remains intact. “It’s taken a lot for me to open up & it is a very tough time for me… I will always love my family but for now, from afar. Nothing changes between us brothers, Armaan and I are one and nothing can come between us. Love & Peace,” he wrote, ending his message with a red-heart emoji.

In the now-deleted post, Amaal had also shared details about his emotional struggles. He stated, “Through the last many years they have left no opportunity to disturb my well-being & belittle all my friendships, my relationships, my mindset, my self-confidence. But I just kept marching on because I know I can and I believe I’m unshakable.” He further mentioned that moving forward, his interactions with his family would be strictly professional.

Meanwhile, Amaal’s mother, Jyothi Malik, also responded to the situation. When approached by Hindustan Times, she refused to comment on his statements, simply saying, “I don’t think you (media) need to be involved in all this. Whatever he has put is his choice. I am sorry. Thank you.”

Amaal Mallik, known for hit songs like Naina (Khoobsurat) and Sooraj Dooba Hain, has received immense love and support from fans. While this phase seems challenging for him, his fans continue to stand by him during this emotional time.
