Almost Never actress Mya-Lecia Naylor passes away at 16; cause of death unknown

British child actor Mya-Lecia Naylor breathed her last at 16. The rising star in England has starred in popular children series Millie In Between and the famous show, Almost Never. 

Alice Webb, Director at BBC Children's, in a statement to eonline said,"We are distraught and so terribly sad to hear the news about Mya. She has shone so brightly on our screens, both in Millie In Between and Almost Never, and it's unthinkable that she won't be part of our journey going forward." Alice Webb further added, "She was hugely popular with our audience, a very talented actress, dancer and singer, and a real role model for her young fans." 

Some reports suggest that the teen actress died on April 7. However, the cause of death is not known. The announcement of her death got announced on Wednesday.

Actress Emily Atack, who has starred in 'I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here' was deeply saddened by this loss. She took to social media to express her condolences to the family. 

She wrote, "So shocked and sad to hear about lovely Mya-Lecia Naylor. She was a beautiful and talented girl. A complete joy to be around on the set of Almost Never. Sending all my love to her family & friends. Rest in peace beautiful girl x"[sic]
