All is not well between Akshay Kumar and Rohit Shetty!

Akshay Kumar and Rohit Shetty are all set to collaborate for a cop drama titled Suryavanshi. The film was earlier supposed to release on Eid 2020 and was scheduled to clash with Salman Khan - Alia Bhatt starrer Inshallah but now on Salman's request, director Rohit Shetty has decided to prepone the release of Sooryavanshi.

But this decision has not gone well with Akshay Kumar as this crucial change was made in absence of the superstar. The change was being negotiated between Salaman and Rohit. A close source to Deccan Chronicle said, "Akshay was not even taken into confidence before the decision to prepone Sooryavanshi was taken.  It was all decided between Salman and Rohit Shetty, and the announcement was made on a public platform. This has left Akshay fuming."

Earlier also in 2018, Akshay had to postpone his film Padman for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmaavat. “Akshay was in no mood to move this time. It was all done between Salman Khan and Rohit Shetty,” the source adds.

Meanwhile, the film Sooryavanshi will be a full-fledged action drama and it stars Katrina Kaif as the leading lady.
