Alia-Ranbir's wedding festivities to begin from 13th April

The news of lovebirds, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's wedding is doing rounds in the B-town for a while now. Reportedly the event will take place on or around April 17. The couple, who were recently seen filming in Varanasi for 'Brahmastra,' are set to marry this month. According to reports, the couple will hold a small ceremony with close friends and family members in attendance. According to the most recent reports, Ranbir and Alia's wedding will take place in the city from April 13 to April 17.

Reports also stated that, the families will hold sangeet and mehendi ceremonies during this time. It's also been reported that the couple has asked family members to keep their schedules clear during the aforementioned dates.

According to a leading news website, Alia will wear Manish Malhotra and Sabyasachi gowns during her wedding festivities. The couple is also said to be throwing a reception party for their industry friends at the end of April. Ranbir and Alia will exchange vows at the RK house in Chembur, as Rishi and Neetu Kapoor did.

According to a previous report, 

"Alia's maternal grandfather, N Razdan, is in poor health and has expressed his desire to see Alia marry Ranbir. Mr Razdan has also grown fond of Ranbir and adores him. This event does not need to be extravagant because Ranbir and Alia are already legally married in the eyes of both families. This is a small gathering and celebration to fulfil Alia's grandfather's wish."
