Alia Bhatt's Bday wish for her father Mahesh Bhatt is all about Sadak2

Alia and Pooja Bhatt will share screen space for the first time in Sadak 2

Mahesh Bhatt has had an overwhelming career of 50 years in the film making industry. He has made many marvelous additions to the Indian cinema like Sadak, Arth, Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahi and many more. Then he retired himself to a much more comfortable life and has been in the hibernation since last 20 years.

But now the director has risen from the retirement and has decided to make a sequel to his super successful make 'Sadak'. Today on his 70th birthday, his daughter Alia Bhatt took to social media to send him some heartiest wishes. She also revealed the first look of the Sadak 2 and we just can't keep calm.

While wishing him birthday, in a heart warming post, she wrote,"Dear Daddy, On your 70th Birthday you have given me the greatest present I could ask and dream for. You are directing me! Sadak 2 is a dream come true.. What I thought will never be possible you have made possible. Thank you daddy from the bottom of my heart, soul and bones.This will be a journey of discovery.. Of life, movies, feeling and most of all.. Of a father and daughter. I love you my not-so-old man! Happy Birthday "

Sadak 2 will have the old stars Poja Bhatt, Sanjay Dutt and the new additions would be Alia Bhatt herself and Aditya Roy Kapoor. This picture is proof that something phenomenal is brewing in the mind of Mahesh Bhatt. She also shared a video which brought the memories of 1990's. Have a look:

Pooja Bhatt too took to Instagram and shared a beautiful gift for her father. She wrote,"And he's back... Older,more wise,truer,more kind.. to breathe new life into all of our souls & to breathe more soul into all of our lives. I thought birthdays were about receiving presents Pops... and there you go and turn even that on it's head by giving us a gift instead.. the gift of Sadak2 and the privilege of being directed by you. Sadak 2 is set to release on 25th march 2020. It will be the first time for both the Bhatt sisters to share the screen space. As a cherry on top, both of them will be directed by their father. For more updates, stay tuned.
