Alia Bhatt opens on infusing her legacy to Raha Kapoor and let her be herself as she grows up

Raha Kapoor, in a candid interview. Alia, who welcomed Raha with husband Ranbir Kapoor in November 2022, has been balancing her roles as an actor, entrepreneur, producer, and now a storyteller for her daughter. She is determined to let Raha find her own unique personality as she grows up. Alia Bhatt recently opened up about her hopes and dreams for her daughter.

In her interview with the Hindustan Times, Alia revealed that her approach to motherhood is deeply instinctive. She said, “When it comes to the legacy I envision as an actor and a mother, I don't think it has been calculated from my side. The choices I make as a mother are also very instinctive to what I feel is best for my child.”

Alia emphasized the importance of allowing children to discover their own paths.

I do believe children are born with their own personality. You just have to nurture and care for them and let them find their own feet. Let them be their own person. I don't think I want Raha to ever be any version of herself that she doesn't feel most comfortable with.

Alia also highlighted the balance she maintains between being meticulous and random in her parenting style, believing that a mix of both helps in raising a well-rounded individual. She expressed her desire for Raha to grow up feeling free to be herself without any undue pressure.

On the professional front, Alia Bhatt is set to play a super agent in the first female-led film from YRF Spy Universe, alongside Sharvari. The film, directed by Shiv Rawail, is highly anticipated. Apart from this she will also be a part of 'Jigra' and 'Love & War'.

Bhatt introduced Raha to the public on Christmas in 2023, after taking her time to ensure the right moment for their family. As Alia continues to shine in her career, she is equally focused on nurturing her daughter, ensuring Raha grows up with the freedom to become her own person.
