Alia Bhatt is making her production debut with her upcoming film, Darlings. Alia has previously stated that she is really delighted, nervous, thrilled, and emotional as she dons the producer's hat for the first time.

Apparently, Alia's husband, actor Ranbir Kapoor, had previously stated that during COVID, he had written something, potentially a film story, which he is interested in exploring further. Now, during the Darlings trailer launch event, Alia was asked if there was a chance that they'd collaborate and produce the film in the coming days.

Responding to the question, Alia shared, It’ll be great actually. She even admitted that Ranbir has actually written something. She then added, that they did discuss it in fact and she actually told him - if he doesn’t let her produce it, she'll be very upset and then Ranbir replied that he needs her as the tyrant. Alia then clarified that she meant as a joke and then added, Of course, she'll be more than happy to work on the same. She is a creative producer, she will give her creative inputs at the writing stage and hopefully produce it.

Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt who is expecting Ranbir Kapoor's baby will soon appear with his hubby actor on screens with Brahmastra. The Ayan Mukerji directorial will also feature Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna in pivotal roles. The film is slated to hit the theatres on 9th September. Apart from this Alia's film, Darlings will be premiered on Netflix on the 5th of August.

On the other hand, Ranbir's film Shamshera was released a few days ago and the actor was lauded for his never-seen-before role.

Well no other producer is going to spend any more money on Ranbir Kapoor. Both can produce each other's movies only and we will still boycott them. Fake PR is giving all kinds of news on Alia bhatt today well Brahmastra is also going to be a flop like Shamshera. Kuch Kaam Nahin Aayega.

In my books, this woman is a “nobody” who’s a “somebody” in some people’s impressionable minds, because of a bunch of nobodys sitting on the apex of the artificially created power structure that is the Indian entertainment industry. Indians need to “storm the gates” of this bastion of self-aggrandizing elites by boycotting such nonsense.
