Alia Bhatt introduces Shantanu Maheshwari as a cast of her movie 'Gangubai Kathiawadi'

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's most awaited Gangubai Kathiawadi trailer is finally out today. The film stars Alia Bhatt in the lead role as Gangubai, and the trailer gives a brief insight into what will be Gangubai's rise to power on the streets of Bombay. 

Mr. Bhansali has given his best shot at tracing back in time and bringing out the fascinating story of Gangubai and her journey from a simple girl of Bombay's Kamathipura to fighting elections for a kind cause.

While Alia has been receiving rave reviews for the film already, the actress introduced choreographer and actor Shantanu Maheshwari as a part of the movie while she also launched the second song of the movie 'Jab Saiyyan'. The song has actor Shantanu Maheshwari sharing screen space with Bhatt. Maheshwari plays Gangu's love interest in the project.
