Currently, Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt is basking in success for her latest film Gully Boy. The film was critically acclaimed which saw her baffling performance as it has roped her many opportunities for her career. After Razzi the actress will be once again seen featuring in a biopic of Arunima Sinha who happens to be the world's first female amputee who had scaled the Mount Everest.
The film will be adapted from the book, 'Born Again on the Mountain: A Story of Losing Everything and Finding it Back.' The book is based on the issues faced by Arunima in her path to success.
According to reports, Alia has already given a nod for the film. Reportedly, the film is going to be produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and Vivek Rangachari's Dar Motion Pictures. According to sources, Alia has been asked to gain weight so that she becomes more apt for her role in the film.
The actress is slated to go through a various round of training, as the film features her a mountaineer as well as a physically challenged person. Further, the reports suggest, that the initial shooting of the film will be done in Lucknow and subsequently in other cities.
For the unversed, Arunima Sinha was a national level volleyball player who was pushed out of a moving train by robbers as she attempted to fight them off. Although Arunima survived the accident, she, however, lost her left leg. However, she did not lose hard and just after a period of one year, she became the first woman amputee to scale the highest peak in the world.
