Actress Aleya Ghosh, who plays the role of Paro in Ishq Ki Dastaan Naagmani on Dangal TV, says that for actors it is tough to get out of their characters when they leave the set. She says that she even ends up imbibing some of the traits of her character.

“Not intentionally, but it happens. You cannot take off a character that you are living every day for 14 hours. You start behaving and even thinking like your fictional character, which is normal. And I can proudly say that now I have more Paro-traits than Aleya in me. But, balancing your life and work is important. I do it through meditation, which keeps my mental health stable,” she says.

Meanwhile, talking about her show, she says, “People call me Paro these days. Even aunties in my building do that now. However daily shows are hard work. Getting up early morning every day is a tough task. But, of course, passion keeps you intact, it works like magic.”

The actress is happy to be associated with Dangal TV and adds, “Experiments are very risky but, at the same time, it gives uniqueness that keeps the viewers glued. It's an amazing opportunity for creatives and actors to showcase something out of the box. For me, every day is like an adventurous journey here and I am so grateful for it,” she says.

Aleya adds that it’s important to keep evolving. “Everyone has their own choices. So, it's necessary for the entertainment industry to evolve to gather masses. Our show is a fusion of supernatural and family drama contents, which is the reason for the mass love that we are getting from the audience,” she says.

Meanwhile she loves the atmosphere on her set. “We chat a lot. I love to listen to all the past experiences of the senior actors. Sometimes, all of us gather in one room and play dumb charades. Also, we cook Maggie or make chaat or tea. You cannot resist becoming a family when you spent so much time with each other. So yes, we are now connected emotionally with each other,” she says.
