Akshay Kumar unveils 'Sky Force' on Gandhi & Shastri Jayanti: To release on 2nd October 2024

Akshay Kumar is currently riding high on the success of OMG 2 as he gears up for his upcoming release, Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue. Well, today he has surprised his fans on Gandhi Jayanti with a thrilling revelation - his new project, Sky Force. 

Sky Force's storyline captures the bravery and patriotism displayed by our valiant uniformed heroes who played a pivotal role in executing India's historic and most daring airstrike against Pakistan, overcoming immense challenges. 

Akshay Kumar and the production team took to their social media platforms to share the official announcement, complete with the release date. The OMG 2 actor unveiled the announcement video on his Instagram, offering a glimpse of PM Lal Bahadur Shastri's impactful speech from that era, accompanied by the movie's official logo. The caption reads, "Aaj Gandhi-Shastri Jayanti ke din saara desh keh raha hai- Jai Jawan, Jai Kisaan, Jai Vigyan, Jai Anusandhaan (Today on the day of Gandhi-Shastri Jayanti, the whole country is saying - Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan, Jai Science, Jai Research). For the unversed, this project will introduce actor Veer Pahariya in a pivotal role, injecting a fresh dose of energy into the film. Akshay Kumar has been deeply involved in the movie's filming for the past few weeks, even celebrating his birthday on September 9th on the sets in Lucknow.

Actresses Sara Ali Khan and Nimrat Kaur are also rumored to be part of this exciting venture. Co-directed by Sandeep Kelwani and Abhishek Kapur, with creative production under the guidance of Amar Kaushik, Sky Force is produced by Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Deshpande.
