Akshay Kumar Sells His Upscale Borivali Apartment for THIS Whopping Price

Bollywood star Akshay Kumar has sold his apartment in Borivali East for a whopping Rs 4.35 crore, adding to his impressive real estate portfolio in Mumbai's luxury property market. The transaction, registered in March 2025, saw a stamp duty of Rs 26.1 lakh paid, resulting in a reported profit of 84 per cent.

The apartment, located in Sky City, a prestigious residential project by Oberoi Realty, boasts 3BHK, 3BHK+Studio, and Duplex units. Records from the Inspector General of Registration (IGR) reveal that Akshay Kumar initially purchased the property in November 2017 for Rs 2.37 crore. The apartment, spanning a carpet area of 1,073 sq. ft. (99.71 sq. m), also includes two dedicated car parking spaces.

This wasn't Akshay's first notable sale in Sky City. In January 2025, he sold another apartment in the same building for Rs 4.25 crore, a property he'd originally purchased in 2017.

Sky City has also attracted Bollywood celebrities. In May 2024, Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan invested in multiple properties within the complex.

Professionally, Akshay Kumar's latest role was in the patriotic film Sky Force, where he played an Indian Air Force officer. Reflecting on his focus on patriotic films, Akshay mentioned in a chat with News18 that he understands such movies may not perform well at the box office because audiences prefer entertainment-driven content.

Akshay Kumar is returning to comedy, taking a break from patriotic films for now. His upcoming projects include Welcome To The Jungle, Hera Pheri 3, Jolly LLB 3, and Bhooth Bangla, offering audiences a mix of humor and entertainment.
