Akshay Kumar contradicting himself?!

Has Akshay Kumar contradicted himself? It happens to be the question for the day.


It is a no secret that Kumar took all the criticism against Chandni Chowk to China hard upon his heart. He was not in the least pleased with the fact that his movie was being attacked right, left, centre. In effect, he made a public declaration of his extreme shock at the news of Hollywood's 2009 release Hangover getting better reviews than his movie.


Akki mused out loud before cameras and media, as to why the movie was receiving such great reviews when it was comprised of weird scenes such as those with tigers in the bedroom. Such was his angst concerning the matter, that when he was offered a role in the Bollywood remake of the movie, Akki turned it down without a considering thought.


That said, Action Kumar now appears to be contradicting his own public stance. His issue with Hangover was apparently short lived, for his upcoming movie seems to have similar scenes as well. One will actually get to watch onscreen interaction between the characters and animals. Whether or not those scenes are inspired by Hangover, is what we shall wait and watch out for!
