Akshay Kumar BREAKS down on fulfilling his dream!

Just a few months ago, Akshay Kumar had expressed his wish to do a bit for the families of soldiers and martyr's who sacrificed their lives for the country.

He had also posted a video sharing his idea of launching a software application to raise funds for the army men. He had also asked the citizens to share their feedback about his idea and had urged them to extend their support for the same.

Indeed, Akshay stood by his words!

The 'Jolly LLB 2' actor launched the app and a website named 'Bharat Ke Veer' which means India's Bravehearts, that helps donors to contribute towards the families of Central Armed Police Force/ Central Para Military Forces.

Akshay revealed that by launching this app his dream has finally come true. He took to his twitter profile to share this good news among his fans and followers. He wrote:

The 'Khiladi' actor got emotional while addressing the dignitaries and families of the Martyrs at the app launch event.

He said: "Everybody wants to connect to people in uniform in their pain. It was a small dream and to fulfill this dream, our government really helped us. I want to thank everybody with my folded hands. My father was in Army and I am here as his son."
