Akshay Kumar and Kriti Sanon kick-off Bachchan Pandey shoot by New Year!

This year, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is busy working on his upcoming films. With a plethora of distinct films are heading towards OTT release, Akki will be gearing for the shoot of Saji Nadiadwala’s directorial Bachchan Pandey. 

A few months ago, Akki shared his first look from the film and it definitely caused a whole lot of buzz on social media. While the makers had to cancel the shoots owing to the spread of coronavirus, the entire schedule was scrapped off. Now the latest Mumbai Mirror report stated that the film is all set to go on floors in 2021 due to the delayed shooting.

The shooting of the film was initially slated for May 2020. However, now the cast will roll in shooting in real locations of Jaisalmer for a marathon shoot till March 2021.

As per the report, Akshay and Kriti will shoot in real locations and not a set. The shooting schedule will a marathon schedule of almost 60 days with the team locking in the majority portion of the film. 

The report also quoted a source close to the publication and mentioned that the Bachchan Pandey team has secured all the permissions and zeroed in on the locations. The team will also have doctors on sets and ensure that SOP is maintained amidst the pandemic. 

In the film, Akshay will be playing the role of a gangster in the film, actress Kriti Sanon will be seen in her all-new avatar as a journalist.
