Akshara and Rajshri to get in trouble

Another tragedy knocks at the Singhania and Maheshwari family's door as Rajshri (Lata Sabharwal Seth) and Akshara (Hina Khan) will soon be sent to the jail in Rajan Shahi's Ye Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.

In an upcoming episode, the mother-daughter duo will visit the doctor for a routine checkup. However, the doctor will assume that they have come for a sex determination and will subsequently inform the police about this illegal activity. This big misinterpretation will lead the two behind the bars.  

We contacted Lata Sabarwal who confirmed this development in the story, "Yes due to some misunderstanding we go to the jail but our family bails us out. We haven't shot the whole sequence yet."

As Akshara goes through another rough patch in her life, we hope that she finds some support in her husband, Naitik. Meanwhile, the viewers are impatiently waiting to see how both the families react to this situation…
