Aishwarya Sharma shares that people wished she died due to COVID; Neil Bhatt reveals being affected by trolls

Star Plus is all set to roll out a one-of-a-kind reality show titled 'Smart Jodi'. Smart Jodi is a new show on the channel and will showcase celebrity couples from different fields — acting, dancing, cricket, music and choreography, on one common stage. Produced by Frames Production, this fun reality show will have 12 to 15 couples in the show.

Celebrity couples like Neil Bhatt – Aishwarya Sharma, Rahul Mahajan – Natalya Ilina, Monalisa Biswas- Vikrant Singh Rajput, Bhagyashree – Himalaya Dasaani, Arjun Bijlani- Neha Bijlani, Ankita Lokhande- Vicky Jain, Gaurav Taneja – Ritu Taneja, K. Srikkanth – Vidya Srikkanth, Ankit Tiwari- Pallavi Shukla who are speculated to be a part of the show. The show is set to premiere on 26th February 2022.

The show will have newly wedded couple Neil Bhatt and Aishwarya Sharma as contestants. The duo met on the sets of Star Plus show ‘Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin’ and fell in love. Neil-Aishwarya got hitched a couple of months ago and immediately returned to shoot for their daily soap.

In one of the promos, Neil and Aishwarya talk about dealing with hate comments and trolls. Neil said, “While we’ve received a lot of love from the viewers, a section of the fans has always been trolling and that has been a little difficult to handle”.

Aishwarya shared, “There are fans who call me names and asks Neil why would he marry a girl like me as I’m not good woman and not a good person. They also wish that I die due to COVID”.
