John Abraham is currently ramping up for his upcoming film Atack Part 1. In an exclusive interview with us, John shared his views on various aspects of the film and his desire to become a director. When asked if John would like to see himself in the director's seat someday in the future, he said, "Yes, I will definitely, that's my natural progression".
He was further asked about the kind of story he would like to direct and he said,
"I don't know, but I will surely like to direct one day because I have it in me and I think I could make a decent enough film for sure and the question you will probably ask me is would I direct myself in a film, the answer is a No." He further added that I would want to direct someone else".
When asked that being a huge animal lover and a wildlife protection enthusiast, would he choose it as a subject for his film, John said,
"I don't know, maybe, but talking about animal protection, that's where I need your support. I think you need to make people more aware about it, because we as Indians are not very kind to animals".
John Abraham is also producing this film. When questioned about him getting into a conflict with himself as a producer and an actor, he exclaimed,
"No not really, I don't get into a conflict because as an actor when you are a producer you become sensitive to what is being charged, whats being put down and actors deserve to charge as well. For me, Rakul and Jacqueline are the heroes of my film and they have contributed beautifully to my process. I have a lot of respect for them so if they charge and there's a certain cost rule they should be paid, but for me, there was no conflict as such".
Attack is an action thriller helmed by Lakshya Raj Anand, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Sumit Batheja and Vishal Kapoor. It also stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Rakul Preet Singh. The film is set to hit theatres on April 1, 2022.
