After the response I got for Garry, It was a shocker for me when my character was put on hold: Tushar Dhembla

Tushar Dhembla has risen to fame with his stint as Garry in Star Plus' popular show 'Teri meri Doriyaann.' The actor, who essayed a negative character in the show has been missing from screens for quite some time now, and the show's audience has been wondering whether or not the actor will make a comeback. To discuss the same, we got in touch with Tushar, and the actor got into a heartfelt conversation with us. 

Fans have been wanting to know, has your character in the show ended or will Garry return?

Garry will return for sure, but when will he return? Honestly, even I do not know. ( Giggles) 

In the Bengali adaptation of the show, the emphasis has been on every character. Do you think the Hindi version has failed to do so?

It used to be like that earlier, but later on, I realized what you are mentioning is right. Now the focus is only on the leads, which I agree with. 

When your character has been put on hold, does it get difficult as an actor? You're unable to take up a new project and need to know when your character will return to the show. So the waiting period, does that bother you?

It gets challenging, and to top it all, it is a big shocker for me to sit at home like this. I was not expecting to be told about my character going on hold. My character honestly, the response that I got for my character was something that I never expected. It was so huge that it is a shocker for me to sit home after all this. Everyone would keep stating that Garry cannot leave the Brar mansion and even if he has, he must be plotting. The day I went, the TRPs had shot up too. Honestly, It is a shocker for me that I have to be on hold. But then I cannot blame anyone. Because, as Producers, they know the best. But yes, I will not deny that I am slightly disappointed. 

What about Tmd do u miss the most?

I miss everyone on the set. I mean the cast is very beautiful. I have enjoyed every bit of my time spent on the set shooting with them. I too want to come back. I am not giving any auditions as of now because this character has given me everything. Even when I go out, people recognize me. I can even give another month for the show.
