After Shraddha Kapoor, Anushka Sharma comes out in support of Aarey!

The reports of BMC chopping off 2,746 trees from Aarey forest has literally left the Mumbaikars angry. 

The forest holds few of the most endemic species of flora and fauna from around the globe. A few days ago, many citizens from the city gathered around the streets of Aarey Milk Colony to declare their protest against BMC’s decision to diminish the forest which holds its genesis since centuries now. And guess what? 

Shraddha Kapoor seems to have realised the importance of the ‘Lungs of Mumbai’ (Aarey Forest) hold. The actress also made sure that she joined forces to make an impact. The actress visited the forest to offer support for the cause. Meanwhile, the Saaho actress shared an Amul ad on her Instagram account as well. 

Its hard time every citizen realized his duties and the importance of Aarey. Now, Bollywood celebrities being the citizens of the same city, have gradually understood the need to protect Aarey and create awareness about the same!

Now, Anushka Sharma has come out in support to preserve the long-living land. The actress took to her Instagram handle and shared a story as she wrote: “The ecological balance is not something that we should take for granted. We need to have a serious rethink on the proposed cutting of 2700 trees in Aarey. Save Trees to save ourselves.”
