After Kumkum Bhagya, Mugdha Chaphekar along with Pooja Banerjee to enter Jamai No 1

Kumkum Bhagya's ardent viewers have been missing Mugdha Chapekar, the second generation lead of the show ever since the actress called it quits. Well, fans of the actress are finally in for a treat as Mugdha is all set to return to television screens after a brief while.

As per a report in Saas Bahu Aur Saazish, ABP news, Mugdha will soon be seen entering Zee TV's show Jamai No 1 along with Puja Banerjee. However, the actresses will be making a cameo in the show. ''Pooja and Mugdha will be seen entering Abhishek Malik's Jamai No 1 to help Riya in the story of the show,'' SBS reveals.

For the uninformed, Mugdha, who essayed the female lead in Zee TV's Kumkum Bhagya, made an exit after the show took a generation leap. The actress was then replaced by Rachi Sharma on the show. Mugdha also made a comeback in Kumkum Bhagya for a brief while before Kumkum Bhagya once again headed for a generation leap.

The show is currently in its fourth generation and sees Pranali Rathod and Akshay Bindra as the new leads. The actors replaced Rachi Sharma and Abrar Qazi on the show recently.

As for Jamai No 1, the show sees Abhishek Malik as the titular character and is the remake of Ravie Dubey and Nia Sharma's superhit show Jamai Raja. The show went on for a couple of years before it was eventually axed. It was with Jamai Raja that Ravi Dubey's fame grew leaps and bounds. However, the actor stopped taking up daily soaps since then and currently owns his production house called the 'Dreamiyata entertainment.'
