After Koffee With Karan and What The Love, Karan Johar to host a chat show with star wives

Reality shows and chat shows have become close knits of director/producer Karan Johar, who finds equal time to make films as well as be part of these shows. Karan is known for hosting Koffee With Karan where celebrities are invited as guests and Karan has a conversation with them over a coffee and has fun gaming segments with them. Moreover, Karan will be also seen hosting Netflix’s dating reality show. Karan even judges Colors TV’s India’s Got Talent.

Now, a report in Midday states that the producer is all set to host a chat show where wives of actors will be called for a conversation which will be personal and little intimate. 

A source quoted by Midday said, “It is an intimate chat show where star wives will talk about how they have seen their better half chart a career in Bollywood, their struggles, and how their relationships have survived despite the constant spotlight and the dizzying pressure of stardom. 

"Karan intends to bring in Gauri Khan and Twinkle Khanna amongst others. The show will also, by extension, feature star moms or momagers who have helped their kids foray into the movies. Currently in the nascent stage, the show, once developed, will be pitched to different OTT platforms.”

The show will happen in 2020. Currently, Karan is working on his upcoming multi-starrer Takth starring Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Kareena Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor.
