After Kalank, Varun and Alia to star together in David Dhawan's next?

Read on for details!

Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt made their Bollywood debut together in Karan Johar's Student Of The Year. Since then, their on screen chemistry has been loved by the audience and the duo has managed to give several hit films together, including Badrinath Ki Dulhania and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. What's more? Both Alia and Varun are currently shooting for their next, Abhishek Varman's Kalank.

Amidst all that, we now hear that Varun and Alia will be seen sharing the screen space once again. As per a report in Filmfare, the two might collaborate for David Dhawan's next directorial, which is touted to be a remake of Coolie No. 1. Apparently, the film will be produced by Varun's brother, Rohit Dhawan. If the report indeed turns out to be true, the remake will mark Varun's third collaboration with his filmmaker father after Judwaa 2 and Main Tera Hero.

Meanwhile, there was a buzz earlier that Sara Ali Khan, who has impressed the audience and critics alike with her act in Kedarnath and Simmba, is being considered for the role. However, it looks like the makers are keen to cash in on Alia and Varun's camaraderie.

Isn't that interesting?

While their has been no official announcement yet, we are certainly looking forward to see Varun and Alia carve their magic on the silver screen. The two will reportedly begin shooting after the actor wraps up his dance film with Remo D'souza.
