Adipurush: Saif Ali Khan wraps shooting as Lankesh for the Om Raut film

After months of shooting, Khan has wrapped up his portions as Lankesh in the film. To mark the wrap-up, a small celebration was held on the sets of the film while director Om Raut joined the actor.

One of the biggest films being made for a while now and one that has been in the conversation almost constantly - Adipurush has now witnessed a major development.

The Prabhas, Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan starrer has wrapped up an important schedule especially when it comes to the latter. After months of shooting, Khan has wrapped up his portions as Lankesh in the film. To mark the wrap-up, a small celebration was held on the sets of the film while director Om Raut joined the actor.

Taking to his Twitter handle, the director shared some candid pictures in which Saif is seen celebrating the occasion by cutting a cake. The actor seemed to be in a happy mood as he is seen raising his arms while Om Raut claps with the rest of the team. Sharing the photos, Om captioned, "It’s a film wrap for Lankesh!!! Had so much fun shooting with you SAK!!! #SaifAliKhan #Adipurush #AboutLastNight".

Adipurush has been in the news since day one and even though it faced delays, it seems the shooting for the film is now on track where one of the most important parts is now completed.

Adipurush is directed by Om Raut of Tanhaji fame and apart the principal cast, it also stars Sunny Singh and is backed by Bhushan Kumar where the film is set to release on 11st August 2022.
