Actor Shabbir Ahluwalia owns a cricket team in BCL?

The Box Cricket League (BCL) is soon going to begin. Earlier in the year 2014, we saw 8 teams ranging from Chandigarh Cubs, Delhi Dragons, Rowdy Bangalore, Mumbai Warriors, Kolkata Baabu Moshayes, Jaipur Raj Joshiley, Pune Anmol Ratn and Ahmedabad Express. BCL being a blend of celebrities, entertainment and cricket is unique in its own ways. However, now we hear that a new team might be added to the BCL, which is Chennai.

According to a source, actor Shabbir Ahluwalia has bought a team in BCL this year. The team will represent Chennai and will fight the battle for winner's trophy along with the rest of the teams.

However, the news  still awaits a confirmation from the actor, as he didn't respond to our calls and messages till the time of filing this article.

BCL is played by teams in a closed studio, where women not only cheer, but also participate in the game by either bowling or batting for two overs minimum.

Whether BCL will introduce a new team this time? Well, that's something we need to wait and watch. Till then hold on and keep your fingers crossed.
