Abhishek Bajaj on bagging Babli Bouncer, picking films and OTT over TV and more

Student Of The Year 2 star Abhishek Bajaj has had quite a journey for himself as an actor, and while he started off with TV, he is going places and after his rather impressive stint in Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui, he is gearing up for another promising film with Tamannaah Bhatia co-starrer Babli Bouncer.

India Forums got talking to him for a brief conversation and here's what he had to say.

As an actor, what genre or what kind of work would you like to explore?

As an actor, I'd love to explore myself. I shall try something different and something better there is no particular genre, I just like to experiment and it should be better than the previous one.

Are you open to OTT?

I am open to OTT content, its easier access to all. I just did Your Honor on SonyLIV and it was accepted well, so yes, I am open to good content. TV, I have put on hold, so yes, for now, I want to explore OTT and films.

Your take on reality shows?

Reality shows yes, only if I get to host it as I am not comfortable with content there. They go beyond their limits to gain eye balls and am I am not comfortable with that at all. But yes, if I could host it, I would love to.

How did you manage to sign Babli Bouncer and how are Madhur and Tamannaah to work with?

I got a call from the casting agency, I loved the brief of the character and gave my look test. Madhur Sir called to meet me thereafter, they had watched my previous films and hence, they wanted me to be a part of is as much. 

Madhur Sir is a gem of a person and very fun loving. I feel if the captain of the ship is fun loving, the entire team becomes a dream to work with. Tamannaah has been extremely co-operative, she is up for any improvisation if I want any and we discuss our workout sessions and it is a party on sets.
