Abhishek Bachchan Draws Strength from Daughter Aaradhya for His Role in I Want to Talk

Abhishek Bachchan is preparing for the release of his upcoming film I Want To Talk, directed by Shoojit Sircar. The movie tells the story of a resilient man with a disability who faces life's challenges with determination. In a recent conversation, Abhishek revealed that his daughter Aaradhya played a key role in inspiring his portrayal. He shared a personal experience that aligned with the film’s message of courage and perseverance.

Abhishek recalled a touching moment with Aaradhya when she was a young child. She read a line in a book that described "help" as the bravest word, signifying strength and the will to keep going. He said, “That means you are not ready to give up. I will do whatever it takes to carry on.” This idea resonated deeply with him and shaped his understanding of his character, Arjun. According to Abhishek, Arjun’s journey mirrors this concept of resilience, as the character is unafraid to seek help and persist through hardships.

Speaking about Arjun’s determination, Abhishek explained, “Somebody who has dealt with so much for 31 years can easily say, ‘Bahut ho gaya hai, abhi aur nahi karna hai’ (I’ve had enough, I can’t do more). But Arjun keeps trying. That is true courage.” His words highlight the core theme of the film, emphasizing strength in the face of adversity.

The film, produced by Ronnie Lahiri and Sheel Kumar, is set to release on November 22, 2024. The story focuses on Arjun’s journey as he battles a serious health issue while managing personal challenges. The recently released trailer showcases Abhishek’s transformative performance, combining vulnerability and depth.

With a talented cast including Johny Lever, Banita Sandhu, and Pearle Maaney, I Want To Talk blends drama and dark humor, hallmarks of Shoojit Sircar’s direction. This film also marks Abhishek’s first collaboration with Sircar, a director celebrated for memorable projects like Piku and Gulabo Sitabo.
