Aasif Sheikh reveals Dharmendra & Asha Bhosle enjoy 'Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai'

One of the most popular shows on the tube for the longest time has been Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai where the show recently achieved a special milestone as it completed seven years. Needless to say, it is one of the most popular and loved shows by everybody and some of the most legendary entertainment figures are no different.

Amazingly, legendary singer Asha Bhosle and legendary actor Dharmendra are amongst them. In a recent chat with ETimes TV, producer Sanjay Kohli opened up on the same as he said, "Once I was playing at the Khar gym when I got a call from an unknown number and the lady on the call told me she was Asha. I asked Asha, who? She told me I am Asha Bhosale, I hung up the call as I thought someone was playing a prank on me. She called me again and I again disconnected but when I checked the number on True Caller it showed me Asha Bhosale. I called her up finally and apologised. Asha ji told me that she and Lata didi were huge fans of our show. She shared how Lata didi and she didn't sleep till they watched our show. She also praised Tiku and Malkan's singing style which they always do after their entry. She had also invited us for dinner at their home. Pandit Jasraj Ji’s last birthday wish was to meet the team of Bhabi Ji on his birthday and we all had gone.

Aasif Sheikh, who plays Vibhuti Narayan added that not just the legendary singers but also superstar and iconic actor Dharmendra loves watching their show. He said, "Just 5/6 days ago I learnt that my friend is shooting a documentary on living legends and he met Dharmendra ji for the same. So during the conversation Dharam ji stated that he loves watching our show and he doesn’t sleep without watching our episodes. He also said that when he starts watching it, he continues till at least two hours. My friend recently met and narrated the entire thing to me and I was so inspired and happy."

Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai recently witnessed yet another major development as a new Anita Bhabhi has been introduced where Vidisha Srivastava has taken over from Nehha Pendse.
