Aashiqui 3: Anurag Basu shares a MAJOR Update on Kartik Aaryan's Shoot

Fans have been eagerly waiting for Kartik Aaryan's Aashiqui movie for quite some time. Their excitement is high as they anticipate how Kartik will bring his charm to this iconic franchise. The first part featured Rahul Roy and Anu Aggarwal, while the second, starring Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur, became a massive hit. Now, the third installment is set to bring Kartik Aaryan into the limelight. Recently, director Anurag Basu announced that filming for Aashiqui 3 is scheduled to begin next month, promising yet another captivating romantic saga.

In a recent conversation with ANI, Anurag Basu offered an update on the much-anticipated project. While filming hasn't kicked off yet, the director assured that the team is extensively involved in pre-production and is set to commence shooting next month.

"We will start the shoot next month," he revealed, paving the way for what promises to be an emotional and musical adventure.

In the same interview, Anurag Basu discussed the global presence of the Hindi film industry, drawing parallels with the Korean film industry. He referred to both as “young” and emphasized that while Indian cinema is beginning to attract international interest, it still has significant ground to cover in terms of global impact. He pointed out that Bollywood films mainly target the Indian diaspora and have not yet reached the worldwide audience that Korean cinema has successfully captured. Basu also stressed that the industry is currently more focused on weekend box office performance instead of enhancing its international appeal.

Kartik Aaryan made an official announcement for Aashiqui 3 in September 2022. He took to Instagram to share a teaser along with the caption: “Ab Tere Bin Ji Lenge Hum, Zeher Zindagi Ka Pi Lenge Hum. Aashiqui 3. This one is going to be heart-wrenching!! My first with Basu Da." The announcement quickly sparked enthusiasm among fans.
