According to the latest reports, Vicky Kaushal will play the protagonist character in Aanand L Rai's upcoming film, which is a love story.

Since the release of Manmarziyaan, Aanand L Rai and Vicky Kaushal have developed a close relationship and have been keen to collaborate on projects. Aanand L Rai seeks to develop a straightforward love story from the country's rural areas after the success of Atrangi Re. According to the report, the Raazi actor was very delighted to be a part of Rai's world when he expressed this concept with Vicky, and the movie will go on floors next year.

Aanand L Rai is actively working on the movie's casting while the script is locked, and shortly after that, he leaves on a location recce. He wants to start shooting the movie in the middle of 2023.

Vicky is currently filming for Sam Manekshaw’s biography directed by Meghna Gulzar which is titled ‘Sam Bahadur’. He will also be working on an action movie with a renowned director. His further lineup includes, Govinda Naam Mera, directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, another rom-com with Laxman Utekar and a love story with Anand Tiwari.
