For the past four months the state ministry for labour had been trying to approach Aamir but due to his schedule and other commitments, the secretary of labour Smt. Kavita Gupta could not get through. Finally when they met and the project was discussed, Aamir showed concerns about the campaign's concept. "He said he's been doing a lot of government interest campaigns and felt that if he spoke on every subject, his credibility would suffer," said the secretary after her meeting with him.

But hasn't he done tourism and the elections, only? Seems like "a lot" has been redefined to be two!LOL
Anyways, advertising guru, Prahlad Kakkar has agreed to make these ads. He feels that no other celebrity can promote child labour rights better than Aamir.
So, if Aamir is giving up, who then? "I guess we will have to approach Shah Rukh Khan now." is the pragmatic reply from Gupta.
So, who do you think would be a better endorser for child labour rights, Aamir or Shah Rukh? And if it was Aamir... what would you do to convince him to promote this campaign? Child labour rights are important, isn't it??
